Get to know Jenny

If Pure Beginnings were a person, how would you describe them at a party?

Definitely the green advocate - they’d be eating only freshly grown, organic product, they’d be kind to the earth and kind to others, never conflictual or out of line.

What’s one non-negotiable in your daily routine?

Starting the day with tea!!

What’s your personal motto or a quote you live by, or which inspires you?

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise."

What’s one thing you hope people take away from following you?

There is no such thing as a perfect parent - we are all doing the best we can. If you show up intentionally, and are working towards being the best you can be - how lucky your kids are!

What content does your algorithm always feed to you?

Gender reveal reels. My feed is full of them. And more recently, its been a Rory Mcilroy show too :) deep dive into the masters and his tenacity to overcome a ten year wait for this win!

What rituals or routines keep you balanced/grounded/connected?

5 am walk / run with some of my girl friends. At first it was all about the exercise, but I’ve come to realise the exercise is a by-product - its that connection and safe space!

What’s something you believe in deeply, even if it’s not popular?

Giving a child a phone should be delayed / avoided for as long as possible! These kids do not have the capacity to manage / navigate what comes with a phone (social implications, over stimulation etc). It causes immense mental health distress in so many kids!

What is your ultimate pet peeve?

A loud TV - KILLS me!!!

What do you pop in your trolley every time you go to the shops?

Some sort of treat! I have the biggest sweet tooth!!
